Launch Ceremony of China-Europe Railway Express (Quanzhou-Moscow)
The 75010/09 China-Europe Railway Express (Quanzhou-Moscow) is leaving quanzhou East Railway Station this morning with the sound of train horns.
The train will travel a total distance of 10,960 kilometers from Manzhouli port to Moscow, Russia. It is expected to take 20 days, which can save 25 days compared with the original way of sea transportation.
At the opening ceremony, Deputy Secretary of quanzhou Municipal Party Committee and Mayor CAI Shengsheng announced the official start of the China-Europe Railway Express (Quanzhou-Moscow). The smooth debut of the freight train and the seamless docking of "Sea silk" and "land silk" will help Quanzhou strengthen economic and trade exchanges with countries along the "Belt and Road", promote "Made in Quanzhou" to the world, and help quanzhou high-quality development of foreign trade.
To our proud, the 50 containers on the train are mainly light industrial products "made in Quanzhou". According to reports, the china-Europe freight train from Quanzhou is mainly loaded with sanitary products, bags, shoes and clothing, handicrafts and other quanzhou light industrial products, the goods was inspected in Quanzhou Jinjiang Port, total 50 containers, the cargo weight of 445.7 tons, the total freight value of 10.373 million yuan.
In recent years, with the rapid development of quanzhou's foreign trade, its foreign trade partners have covered six continents, and quanzhou has built an international economic and trade cooperation model with southeast Asia, the European Union, Russia and other countries and regions, gradually forming a global industrial ecosystem. In 2021, the annual trade volume with countries (regions) along the "Sea Silk Line" will exceed 100 billion yuan. In the next five years, Quanzhou will strive to build an important gateway of the Maritime Silk Road, weave a "buy global, sell global" sales network, build an industrial and commercial center facing Southeast Asia, and build a global consumer goods gathering center.
